Modifly’s Copywriter Internship is an opportunity for entry-level copywriters to develop their writing skills with a digital agency team of successful, positive individuals. You will get hands-on experience with real, client-facing projects and will have the opportunity to present your work and ideas as well. You’ll be learning from skilled copywriters, with years of industry experience, how to create innovative, meaningful copy that reflects our clients’ branding and voice. Our goal is to help you learn and grow as a copywriter in the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Participate in training sessions designed to teach you the fundamentals of copywriting
  • Support Modifly’s creative team how to develop and create meaningful client work 
  • Learn to articulate a brand’s messaging through creative and compelling copy 
  • Take on special writing tasks and projects
  • Participate in pitching creative ideas and solutions to help the team solve creative challenges
  • Collaborate with the Modifly team to assist in cross-channel strategy sessions
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings
  • Build your online portfolio through published client work

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in copywriting and brand communication
  • Must have multiple years of social media experience 
  • Must have an active portfolio of previous work
  • Ability to jump into a fast moving environment and take quick ownership 
  • Desire to learn and participate in team efforts and a group project

  • San Diego, Austin and remote options available
  • Internship Term: Summer 2021
  • Compensation: College credit [MUST be enrolled in college course]
  • Hours Desired: 10-15/week
